Release Versions:
Scalefusion Dashboard Version: v66.4.0
Scalefusion macOS MDM Agent: 5.14.23
Scalefusion Veltar VPN Server for Ubuntu: v3.0.0
What's new with Apple
Manage multiple VPP tokens from a single console
Managing Apple apps across multiple business units just got easier.
You can now configure multiple Apple VPP tokens within the same Scalefusion account, making it simple to distribute apps purchased across different organizational units from a single dashboard.
To help prevent deployment mistakes, you can also control who has access to each VPP token using granular RBAC permissions. Assign tokens to specific admins or make them available to everyone, ensuring apps are always distributed using the correct token.
Bulk invite users for BYOD enrollment
Inviting users to enroll their personal devices is now much faster.
You can now upload a CSV file and send BYOD enrollment invitations to multiple users at once directly from the QR Code enrollment workflow.
Please note:
Available for licensed accounts only.
Up to 500 users can be invited in a single upload.
Simpler MFA configuration for OneIdP Keycard
Managing MFA for Keycard logins is now more streamlined.
The setting to enforce MFA for online Keycard logins has been moved from Directory > MFA Settings to Keycard Configuration, allowing you to manage both online and offline MFA from a single location.
This also gives you more flexibility to apply different Keycard configurations across device groups and profiles, enabling MFA only to selected devices/users.
Note: Third-party authenticator configuration continues to be managed under Directory Settings. Users are prompted to set up an authenticator based on the Keycard or SSO configuration applied to their device or user account.
Ubuntu 26.04 support for VPN Server
The Scalefusion VPN Server is now compatible with Ubuntu 26.04, giving you support for newer Ubuntu deployments without additional configuration.
General enhancements
Better visibility for Group Admins
Group Admins who have been assigned only sub-groups and not the parent groups, can now view the assigned groups on the Device Groups page.
Wildcard support for user group names
Additional wildcard variables are now available for user group names, giving you more flexibility while configuring applications and SSO.
New supported variables include:
$user.primary_group_name
$user.group_names
$user.associated_group_names
More reliable macOS package installation
Package installation is now more resilient on macOS.
If an agent-based package download is interrupted or fails, the Scalefusion MDM Agent now retries the download instead of attempting to install a partially downloaded package.
