1. Windows Update Delivery Optimization (WUDO)

You can now enable and configure Windows Update Delivery Optimization settings directly from the Scalefusion dashboard.

Optimize bandwidth usage and speed up Windows updates with Windows Update Delivery Optimization. Instead of each device downloading updates separately, enable devices on the same network to share updates, reducing internet dependency with Windows Update Delivery Optimization.

You can choose from two setup options:

  • Basic Mode: Select a download mode, set bandwidth limits, and manage caching with minimal effort.

  • Advanced Mode: Gain full control over download modes, business hours, bandwidth allocation, and caching configurations.

You can also monitor data usage and adjust settings as needed, you can download the Delivery Optimization report, which is updated every 24 hours.

Note:

  • Windows Update Delivery Optimization requires Agent-driven or Windows CSP-driven updates to be enabled first.

  • If using a firewalled network, specific Microsoft domains must be whitelisted for WUDO to function. Refer to our help docs for details.

2. Patch Management Reports

Obtain detailed insights into device update statuses. Patch management reports are now available for Windows, macOS, and Linux devices.

With the new reports, you can:

  • Device Update History: View all updates for a device or across multiple devices, including their current status—pending, installed, or requiring a reboot.

  • Device Update Summary: Get a consolidated per-device report on available, installed, published, and failed updates, along with an Update Health Score to assess compliance.

Additionally, you can also filter reports by:

  • Platform (Windows, macOS, Linux).

  • A date range to track update trends over a specific period.

3. Keycard Compliance Adjustments

Scalefusion Keycard now skips Login compliance checks for Global Admin accounts created via the Scalefusion dashboard to ensure uninterrupted access for device administration and support activities.

This means that compliance policies do not interfere when these high-privilege admin accounts log in using Keycard, preventing accidental lockouts and ensuring seamless management of devices.
