1. Geofence support for Windows devices

Scalefusion now supports geofencing capabilities for Windows devices. You can now monitor Windows device movement and enforce geofence-based workflows.

Here’s what’s new:

Geofence logs and alerts:

  • Create circular or polygonal geofences and apply them to Windows devices.

  • Receive alerts whenever devices enter or exit the designated geofence zones.

Geofence-based profile switching and compliance:

  • Automatic profile switching: Configure workflows to automatically switch profiles based on geofence events, streamlining device management based on location.

  • Compliance messaging: Set up full-screen MOVE-IN/MOVE-OUT messages when devices exit the geofence, helping ensure compliance.

2. OneIdP integration with third-party authenticator apps

You can now use OneIdP SSO configurations with popular third-party authenticator apps, adding flexibility and security to SSO access.

Key capabilities:

  • Multi-factor authentication (MFA): Users can authenticate with third-party apps like Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator.

  • Access control: Control access policies, enabling SSO without requiring devices to be managed by Scalefusion.

  • SSO configuration: Import users from GWS/AAD/On-Prem AD, configure directories, and establish unified credentials with a third-party MFA app.

  • Keycard access with MFA: You can also enable MFA as a second factor when users log in via Keycard to Windows or Mac devices, providing an extra layer of security.

3. OneIdP SSO support for Amazon Web Services (AWS)

OneIdP now supports SSO integration with AWS, allowing you to secure AWS access using OneIdP as the SAML provider.

AWS IAM Identity Center Compatibility: You can now set up AWS SSO to use OneIdP for access management, especially within the modern IAM Identity Center. This integration facilitates secure AWS access with centralized identity and access management through OneIdP.

4. OS update management for iOS and iPadOS

We’ve extended the OS update view to the user group level, supporting more flexible update management for user-based enrollment and BYO iOS and iPadOS devices.

Previously available only at the device group level, this enhancement provides you with additional control over OS updates within user groups, simplifying the update process across varied deployment models.

5. Generic Windows MDM and RCC Bug Fixes

To improve your Scalefusion experience on Windows devices, we’ve introduced several enhancements including:

  • Lock Screen Removal: The lock screen message is now automatically removed when a device is deleted from the dashboard.

  • Auto Sign-Off Management: Improved handling of Auto-Sign-off settings according to group-specific schedules.

  • Remote Command Enhancements: Better management of pop-ups and sign-off behaviors for remote commands.

  • Push Service Updates: Updated push handling for MDM and RC agents to support the latest push certificate changes.
