3. What’s new for Windows
1) Get a smoother Secure Web Gateway experience
The redesigned Veltar Secure Web Gateway module and rewritten stack help you get better performance and stability.
2) OS Update Enhancements:
You can now get clearer visibility into every stage of the update process for your Windows devices:
Installation and Download Failure Notifications: You can now see appropriate error messages on the dashboard when an OS update fails during download or installation. Easily identify where the update process has failed.
Installation and Download Progress: Installation progress is now displayed as a percentage. Track the download and installation progress of OS updates directly from the dashboard.
Superseded OS Updates: Easily distinguish updates that no longer need to be installed. When an OS update is superseded by a newer update, it is now automatically marked as Obsolete.
Enhanced Installation Flow: When you push multiple OS updates to a device, updates are queued for installation as soon as they finish downloading. You don't have to wait for every update in the batch to finish downloading first.
Reboot Notification: Once all updates in a batch have been evaluated for their reboot requirements, a reboot prompt is displayed on the device. Users can then see when a restart is required to complete the update process.
3) Keep BitLocker recovery keys in sync
Handle edge cases involving external encryption tools used alongside the Scalefusion BitLocker utility, helping prevent mismatched recovery keys from syncing with the dashboard.
4) Manage Registry Keys from the Scalefusion dashboard
Add, update, or delete Windows registry keys remotely using the new Remote Command.
4. OneIdP User Management
Keep user migration focused: When you're migrating users whose Auth Source isn't OneIdP, password reset options are no longer shown. You only see options relevant to the authentication source being used.
Auto-migrate users without email access: You can auto-migrate users to the OneIdP Directory even when they don't have email access or when you prefer not to send the OneIdP welcome email.
5. General Enhancements
Choose the right Scalefusion app build: You can now view the last 10 builds of a Scalefusion app and opt in to a controlled rollout on supported platforms.
Filter macOS Updates by User Group: When you're reviewing Operations, Updates, or Devices in macOS Updates, you can filter the data by User Group alongside the existing Device Group filter.
