What’s new with Apple
Enforce FileVault right from ADE
You can now enforce FileVault encryption during ADE directly from the Device Profile, helping secure device data from the moment a Mac is onboarded.
CIS Level 1 and Level 2 support for macOS 27
Continuing our zero-month support for Apple’s latest release, Scalefusion now supports CIS Level 1 and Level 2 for macOS 27, also known as Golden Gate.
A smoother experience on macOS
With this release, you get better device responsiveness, more reliable connectivity, and your users get a smoother login experience on macOS devices.
macOS MDM Agent: Your devices continue to stay responsive after you install the Scalefusion Agent, regardless of the Agent version.
Veltar Secure Web Gateway: You can stay connected when switching from Wi-Fi to mobile data networks with a lower MTU, or when using networks with IPv6 enabled.
OneIdP: You can log in online with Keycard without an unnecessary local password prompt interrupting the flow
Reliable macOS application block logs
macOS application block logs now sync reliably to the Scalefusion dashboard, ensuring the latest block activity is available for visibility and monitoring.
OneIdP and User Management
Choose what happens to corporate-owned devices when users are deleted
As user-assigned devices become more common across platforms, you can now choose whether corporate-owned devices should also be deleted when their assigned users are deleted.
BYO devices were already deleted by default. This option now extends to CO devices for:
IdP User Sync
Bulk User Delete using CSV
User Delete from User Enrollment
Scope user management to assigned SSO users
You can now scope user management to users assigned to your SSO configurations instead of applying it to everyone matching the domain.
New options in Google Workspace and Entra SSO configurations let you restrict user management operations such as user creation, update, and deletion to assigned users only.
Faster Windows Keycard logins
The Windows Keycard agent, part of the MDM agent, now enables faster logins on domain-joined devices.
Use custom properties across user groups
Custom Properties created from the Devices page can now be extended to User Groups. You can define custom property values from the User Group section and use group-based properties in:
Application Configurations
SSO Configurations > Custom Attributes and Custom Claim
Group-based custom properties use the $group. prefix. When a device belongs to a Device Group, the Device Group property is used. When it belongs to a User Group, the User Group property is used.
What’s new with Windows
Plain text logging
You can now enable plain text logging for all Scalefusion apps from Utilities.
This utility is intended for advanced enterprise environments or cases where compliance requirements mandate plain text logging.
When logging is switched ON or OFF, logs collected on the device up to that point are rotated.
Improved compatibility with security tools
We’ve removed psexec and other unused third-party components that could cause EDR, XDR, or antivirus solutions to incorrectly classify Scalefusion.
Note: Security tools may still flag Scalefusion depending on their detection policies. We recommend adding signature- or path-based exceptions for Scalefusion where required.
View BitLocker recovery key
Users can now view the BitLocker recovery key from the Scalefusion Agent using their Entra ID or domain credentials when the device is Entra joined or domain joined.
Security enhancements
We’ve also made security enhancements to protect access to Scalefusion resources, processes, and components on Windows devices.
Enhanced Device Management
Manage Android PfW and Enterprise Store app configurations through APIs
Developer APIs are now available to manage Android PfW and Enterprise Store app configurations. You can query the schema, retrieve the configuration currently applied, and create and apply configurations to devices.
Better Linux Secure Web Gateway performance
The Linux Secure Web Gateway feature has been updated to use our latest stack, delivering better QoS and performance.
Move users between groups faster
Enhanced group movement conditions make it easier and faster for you to move users between groups.
Clearer Wi-Fi signal labels
Wi-Fi signal labels are now consistent across the Devices page and Device Details. Signal strength is displayed on a scale of 1 to 5, with labels ranging from Poor to Excellent.
Improved bulk user deletion
Bulk user deletion through CSV is now more reliable and optimized for smoother processing. You can delete up to 2,000 users in a single bulk deletion.
Smoother enterprise application uploads
Enterprise application uploads can now complete without being interrupted by the dashboard session timeout settings, providing a smoother upload experience.
