Release Versions:
Scalefusion Dashboard: 67.6.0
Scalefusion MDM Agent
Windows: 17.0.15
macOS: 6.5.6
Scalefusion Remote Support Agent: Windows: 4.15.0.0
1. Simplified Platform SSO
Simplified Platform SSO takes PSSO one step further. Your users can now sign in with their IdP credentials during ADE enrollment, enabling a fully unattended enrollment experience and binding the device to the user's IdP account from the first use.
You can configure Simplified PSSO under ADE Settings → macOS Prestage Setup, with fallback options available for devices running older macOS versions.
To use S-PSSO, choose Okta or Microsoft Entra as the supported IdP and publish the corresponding PSSO extension app to the profiles or groups where the devices will enroll.
2. New and improved macOS MDM Agent
Deploy DMG and ZIP-based Applications
The Enterprise Store now supports deploying DMG- and ZIP-based applications using the Scalefusion MDM Agent. You can choose from multiple deployment options, including:
i. Installation Method
Choose your installation method: Use Standard Installation or a custom script-based installation.
Keep apps installed: Ensure the app remains installed on the device.
Control DND behavior: Choose whether the installation respects or ignores DND options.
Keep users informed: Display alerts when the installation starts and show progress during installation or updates.
ii. Installation Detection: Configure detection rules to verify whether an app has been installed or updated based on Bundle, File, Folder existence, or a script-based detection.
iii. Pre and Post-Install Scripts: Configure scripts to run before and after the application installation.
Custom Script-Based Installation for PKG Files
You can now choose how you want to install PKG apps on managed devices. Along with the existing standard installation method, we’ve added support for script-based installation.
This gives you more flexibility to customize the installation process based on your deployment requirements.
Bug fixes and Enhancements
More reliable application block analytics: Application block analytics now sync seamlessly with the backend, ensuring accurate and up-to-date reporting.
Smoother Wi-Fi controls on the Keycard screen: Turning Wi-Fi ON or OFF from the Keycard screen now works without displaying an unnecessary permission dialog.
3. What’s new with Windows
Windows MDM Agent Enhancements
We’ve optimized how the Scalefusion MDM Agent detects installed applications. The improved detection logic makes application evaluations more efficient, helping reduce CPU and memory usage while keeping device performance smooth.
Windows Remote Support gets faster and more reliable
Faster connections: Remote Support now uses the device’s location and IP address to identify the best available server, helping establish connections more quickly.
Improved Windows SmartScreen compatibility: We’ve updated the Remote Support tool to help prevent it from being incorrectly flagged as potentially unsafe by Windows SmartScreen.
More reliable terminal sessions: The Check Now button in the Remote Support UI now checks for pending terminal sessions and starts them when required. This provides an alternate way to initiate sessions in environments where push channels may be blocked.
4. Updated Setup Guidance for Intune Partner Compliance
Microsoft has updated the evaluation criteria for Baseline Scopes, impacting Conditional Access Policies, effective June 15, 2026.
To align with this change, we’ve updated the Intune Partner Compliance setup flow with additional guidance to help administrators configure Baseline Scopes and Conditional Access correctly.
For detailed setup instructions and information on the changes, refer to our updated documentation: Baseline Scopes & Conditional Access – Intune Partner Compliance
5. Updated Minimum OS Requirements for Apple Devices
Starting November 2026, in line with Apple’s platform support guidance, new versions of the Scalefusion apps for macOS and iOS will require macOS 12 (Monterey) or later and iOS 15 or later. Currently, the minimum supported versions are macOS 10.14 and iOS 11.
Devices running older OS versions will remain enrolled and continue to enforce existing Scalefusion policies. However, they will no longer receive new updates for Scalefusion apps. This means features, fixes, enhancements, and compatibility updates released after October 2026 will not be available on these devices.
Here’s what we recommend:
Use the OS Version report to identify devices running versions earlier than macOS 12 or iOS 15.
Plan to upgrade them before November 2026 to ensure your devices continue to receive the latest Scalefusion updates and remain on the supported track.
6. Reseller/MSP portal enhancements
We’ve made it easier for authorized Partners to manage customer accounts while keeping security and accountability at the forefront.
Perform 2FA-protected actions: Partners with access to a customer’s Dashboard/Console can now perform actions on the customer’s behalf, including those that require two-factor authentication (2FA). Partners can securely confirm these actions using their own credentials.
Better visibility in Audit Logs: Actions performed by a Partner are now recorded with the Partner/Reseller account name in Audit Logs, making it easier to track who performed each action.
Customer-controlled access: Customers remain in control of their Dashboard/Console access. Partners can access and manage the portal only when the customer has explicitly granted them permission.
